Try Quinoa with wheat flour dosha full of Dietary Fiber
Quinoa Flour quick and easy recipe to make tasty Quinoa Dosa. Made with a batter that blends quinoa and wheat flour with urad, these dosas are healthy and tasty and have Dietary fiber too.
The batter requires no fermentation, so we can make this dosa at any time, but you must soak urad for at least 1hours before grinding it.
For Quinoa Dosa
1/4 cup urad dal (split black lentils)
1/2 cup quinoa flour
1/4 cup whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
salt to taste
2 1/4 tsp ghee or oil for cooking
Soak the urad dal in water for 1 hour. Drain well.
Blend in a mixer to a smooth paste using ½ cup of water.
Combine the remaining ingredients, prepared urad dal paste and ¾ cup of water in a deep bowl, mix well using a whisk.
1)Heat a non-stick tava, sprinkle a few drops of water on the tava (griddle) and wipe it off gently using a cloth.
2)Pour a ladleful of the batter on it and spread it in a circular motion to make a 150 mm. (6”) diameter thin circle.
3)Smear ¼ tsp oil over it and along the edges and cook on a high flame till the dosa turns brown in color from both the sides.
4)Fold over to make a semi-circle or a roll.
5) Repeat with the remaining batter to make 8 more dosas.
